Drone-Based Blood Transport
Ulaanbaatar’s chronic traffic congestion significantly delays blood transportation within the city, sometimes becoming a life-or-death factor in emergency situations. To address this challenge, MSDD conducted drone-based blood deliveries from August to December 2025, transporting transfusion products from the National Center for Transfusion Medicine to three hospitals across the city. Over 400 flights successfully delivered blood to 879 patients, and during this period, drone transportation played a crucial role in saving the lives of two patients through emergency deliver
